Lester Grinspoon, MD
In the 1960's, Lester Grinspoon was an MD in the psychiatry dept at Harvard. He set out to study the problems cannabis posed to mental health. To his surprise, his patients improved. His seminal book "Marihuana Reconsidered" lead the world towards recognizing the medical benefits of cannabis. He has since published many more books and papers.
