Jamie Baumgartner

James (Jamie) Baumgartner is an executive professional with over 25 years’
experience in drug discovery and development.  His passion, as demonstrated
through numerous project successes, is to accelerate novel medicines for
patient benefit.  While at Zymogenetics and Amgen, he lead multiple project
teams resulting in over 5 Investigational New Drug applications and over 8
patents ranging from novel biologics to new biological targets.  While in
the CRO industry, Jamie has consulted with 6 of the top ten pharma and
biopharmaceutical companies to prioritize novel small molecule drugs for
clinical trials.  Jamie has joined Strategic Pharma as the Chief Operating
Officer spearheading the development of novel hemp and cannabis extracts for
the treatment of PTSD.  At SPI Jamie leads a very talented scientific team
committed to bringing novel cannabis/hemp products to patients.
