Mery Penya-Guzman MD

Libby Stuyt MD

When Colorado legalized medical marijuana in 2000, the highest THC potency was 5 % in the plant and there were no concentrates. Concentrates began to appear in 2010 and have increased THC potency, some above 90% THC. Dr Stuyt will discuss her work with people affected by consequences from high-potency THC that include cannabis use disorder, psychosis, depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation and attempts, violence, and cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome.
